I'm just a proud Mother Hen...

Jenna has always been a creative one, so it didn't surprise me when she took up
sewing and reconstructing vintage clothing this past year.
From School Girl... to Grown Up Girl

I love what she did to this wool plaid suit, although she's missing the brief case! She even made a cute plaid hat to match, which we forgot to photograph. :(

She's my thrift shop buddy, and always heads straight to the fabric bin.
We picked up 4 yards of wool in her favorite turquoise for $5 !
She didn't even tell me what she was going to make, but a few hours later, she comes out of her room wearing this.

She has a passion for designing, but isn't really sure if she wants to make it her career. Of course, her number one choice would be Parsons in New York, but there are a couple of schools closer to home. Her main focus the last four years has been Art & Graphic Design while attending New Media Design within her High School.
You would think she would help her poor Mamma's boring page...but she doesn't have the patience to teach me. She's a busy teen!
Well...at least it keeps her away from the boys..heehee.
