This picture of a melting glacier was captured by marine photographer and environmental lecturer Michael Nolan. A glacier expert has confirmed the ice cap has been continually shrinking by as much as 160 feet every year for several decades. Austfonna is Norway’s largest ice-cap, measuring in at over 3000 square miles.
