20 Years Ago Today...

Balboa Park - Cafe Del Rey Moro

... I walked down these steps to marry my sweetheart. We stood in front of family and friends in front of a Wishing Well covered in white roses. I think my Dad was more nervous on that walk than I was. And the groom? He was so nervous that he spilled a soda on his lap an hour before the ceremony. 20 years of marriage and 3 years of courting before that, and he still makes me laugh. I've often told him that's the only reason I keep him around...hee hee.

Happy 20th Anniversary!! I remember that day well ...you looked so beautiful and the groom handsome. It was a wonderful celebration of marriage. How will you celebrate all those years together?

"Julie" Balboa Park is near downtown San Diego. I never regretted our choice to get married there. I just love that place! Thanks for visiting my blog.
