Something old, with original worn paint,especially when the paint is in this color! Pale robin's egg blue. I have always wanted an old wooden file cabinet, so when I turned the corner and found this sweet thing for ten bucks...I couldn't say no.
Now I know there may be a few out there that would take one look at this and say, "that needs to be refinished or taken to the dump." My husband used to be one of them, but thankfully, he's come over to my side now. He has strict orders to pick up anything & everything with chippy paint and bring it home to Momma! `o)

I absolutely love it...and I wouldn't change a thing. I've told my Glenn the same thing...if you see something, grab it...I'll probably want it!!!

A good (smart) man is a gift from the Gods...right...love the blue, what a score girl...by the way, the statues head was broken off during a game of whiffle ball in the house, so it remains a tribute to my Grandsons youth and all the stuff he broke and he and Grandpa tried to fix without me knowing...whatever.

What a great find, I think it is beautiful. I never pass up any thing that has potential. The color is just perfect.I love old and used things and wonder about the home it had before me,and the person who loved it. I must sound silly but I do.
