I didn't set out to take a picture of tulips, but when I walked into my daughter's room and spotted these, I couldn't resist. She had bought them for herself the day before Easter. The lighting was so perfect and just look at that red. So I grabbed my little camera to share these tulips with you. (You can click to enlarge if you like)

I love tulips, but I just wish they lasted longer!! There are so many beautiful kinds out there!!
BTW I can't get "Help I'm Alive" out of my head. I was cleaning today while Max was asleep, and I sang and hummed it the whole time. Thanks again for mentioning the album to me!!

The red is so vivid, so pretty against the white blinds. I love it! And I love tulips.

My friend and I are doing an antique shop in the lil' burg I been posting about, it's so cute...they are gutting the lil building right now getting ready for us to move in the first of June, it'll only be open wed,fri and sat in the summer months...for now anyway, we're gonna take a chance that we'll get traffic, it's in the burbs of Cedar Rapids(big city)...rent is $200.00 a month, unheard of huh...wish us luck!
I especially LOVE those red tulips - when they're open like that, they remind me of poppies! =)
