This was a good morning for finding furniture...found this neat chest with side shelves with a thick glass top, and this large buffet server.
Both pieces will be painted and taken to The Attic. I'll be posting the after pics sometime next week.
We would have left this one as is, but the finish is too worn in areas so it will be painted.The question remains...white or black?

And I would say black! There is just something about black furniture that really pops!
As much as I love black, I think white would work for this... although with such a great piece, any color will work.

That cool piece is begging to be painted BLACK!
My first reaction was: white. After looking at the piece more closely, though, I'm re-thinking it and will say: black! Why? Black furniture can be so chic and sophisticated.
