The Adventures Of Elizabeth

Like so many of you blog junkies... I discover new blogs almost daily. Today I came across The Adventures of Elizabeth. Elizabeth longed for a new kitchen, but a complete remodel was not in her budget. Take a look at her blog to read about her adventure and see that it really can be done on a budget. We're talking $500 here! I was truly inspired by her post, and I think you will be too. It ends with a tale of true love and a common English idiom, Don't judge a book by it's cover. You will enjoy it, I promise.

That's a cool blog, thanks for pointing it out. I've been wanting to repaint my kitchen cabinets and leaning toward painting them black, but just a little hesitant to do so. That blog helped me make up my mind. Black, it is!

Thank you Nancy for posting my kitchen posting! How sweet of you - and what a surprise! Yes - fly me to California! :-) Glad you enjoyed the story at the end too. What a treat to visit your blog - LOVED the Grey Gardens - can't wait to have more time to go through some of your older postings!

Take care and thank you again,
Elizabeth

I will be sure to check out the blog! Wasn't Grey Gardens wonderful? I just finally got around to watching it yesterday. Too bad about your old house. It sure looks cool!!! Unfortunate that the up keep can't be kept! :(

I love it...I even painted my fridge and antiqued it in my kitchen, it matches my walls. The look just feels good, Elizabeth always does wonders with her homes...it's all about stepping out of the box and being your own person!
(Adding a pheasant or two always helps)...ha!
