Friends, Laughter & A Little Too Much Fun

We had a grand time at our Mother's Day store event today! A day filled with friends, laughs, too many sweets (my poor pancreas was working overtime) and too much almond champagne for one person. I actually forgot where I parked my car, but don't worry..I waited around and drank lots of water. I can blame it partly on age. :)

It was a huge success with a steady flow of visitors throughout the day. I was so tired when I got home that I was in my jammies by 7pm. My feet are numb, but it was all worth it. Thank you to our attending artists...Gina from Lizzy B., Tamerie Shriver and Shirley Castellanos. Gina & Shirley do not have their blogs up yet but I will link them as soon as they do. Your contribution to our store event made it all the more special! We appreciate you girls so very much. I will post the photos of our day on the store blog so take a peek tomorrow.

I went to The Attic blog. Everything looks so nice. Do you work in the store often? I'm thinking a trip with my mom and Max are in order some time. I'd like to just go down there, as it's been a good 10 years or so since I've been. Sad I know.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks! I am at the store a lot, but my scheduled days are every Wed and every other Fri and Sun. If you give me a few days notice, I can arrange to be there. Have you ever been to Coronado? Hope to see you all some day!

I'll let you know. I have to talk to my mom still, but I would love to go down for a visit, maybe in the next couple weeks we could just stop in and say hi. No I haven't been down there, and I'm dying to take a look! :)

This post had me laughing! Sounds like the good kind of exhaustion, that sort of afterglow feeling that follows a really good party. I'm clicking over to the shop blog now.
