WHITE it is!

And SOLD it is! ... one of the more popular pieces we've had.

Last week I posted on 2 pieces of furniture which we had lined up for painting. Click here to see the before shots. Although the blogger votes came in with black being the clear favorite, we went with white for two reasons.#1- We do sell more white pieces and second, we already had a few black painted pieces in the store. We're happy with the results and the pieces are getting a lot of looks!

I think they would have looked great in black too, but in white, both pieces look super nice!

They do like nice in white. The good thing is that whomever buys them can always paint them black,

I just painted a buffet just like that in black and a desk black and they sold right away...but boy was it a hard decision...but I still feel that white is gonna make a comeback in our area. But it does sell better in the summer than winter.

I am painting the wonderful dresser and mirror that I posted about awhile back, white...I think it will make quite a statement in the new store. We have a lot of semi-stripped pieces that we are introducing too, with touches of color. Can't wait to get the shop opened, people are anxious...soon 'White' will be open to the public all they have to do is give us the key and we will be open the next day...Lorie and I don't mess around!!!

Hope your pieces sell right away. We are getting good news from the girls that do the shows, sales have been good, just like they were 15 years ago, when this white thing was getting started here in the Midwest...yippee...let the fun begin...again!

Norby says hey!!!
