I have a friend named Fred, who walks by the shoppe on his way home each night. Everyone on the block knows Fred, and even greet him with " Hi Fred!" Once in awhile he'll poke his big old nose in the door to see if I'm giving away free belly rubs.
He's not shy.
Fred always gets his way. What a character.
