As I was upstairs taking photos of Jenn's new studio, I walked by the bathroom just outside of the room. It had been awhile since I peeked inside, and it was like walking back in time. This was my very own bath growing up in this old house. I loved the calm sea foam green tile as a child and still do. I guess some things never change. The only difference is that when you're a kid growing up in an old house like this, you don't appreciate the uniqueness and charm until you move into a new house. I realized how much I miss this place this week.
The pedestal sink , the built in linen cabinet and the tub's tile border. All so charming.
I LOVED this old wall heater. I remember holding my towel up to that heater to toast it before I'd wrap myself up in it. It's a miracle I never started a fire!
My Mom hung shower caps and a hot water bottle inside this little cabinet.
The tile border always reminded me of a whale's tail. :)
I think I'll take some more photos of this old house, so stay tuned for more Memories from home.

Wow, I was really behind on your blog. You have been doing a lot of work at your home and the studio! I love the look of the wood floors. No surprise needles in the carpet, which is always a plus!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your seaside-looking tiles! I also grew up in an antique home, and we had those little built-in cupboards all around the house! =) I thought they were the neatest things and I really miss them! I had one built into the dormer in my bedroom... it was only large enough to hold about six books, but it had two fancy little doors. Gotta love the charm of these old homes! Can't wait to see more pics!
so is that were little puffy wuffy primped? love the charm! oh the kit cat clock found that in a shop on the way up north...if it does not sell..I'm keeping that thing:) it is darling! It is getting hectic around here the midwest longest parade takes place right in front of the apt tomorrow...gobs of people and we'll have a houseload with my family all coming...Not much time for the net, but Sunday they will all clear out! woot woot! xo
